By accessing the Site (as defined below) you (the User) agree to these terms of use.

The Board of the Pension Protection Fund (the Board) is a statutory corporation established under the Pensions Act 2004 to hold manage and apply the Pension Protection Fund. References elsewhere on this Site to ‘the Pension Protection Fund’ are references to the Board or to the Pension Protection Fund as appropriate.

The www.pensionprotectionfund.org.uk website, functions and material contained on it (the Site), is provided by the Board with no warranty, guarantee or endorsement of any kind, whether express or implied by law.

The Board shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising in negligence, contract or otherwise from the use, or loss of use, of the Site, from the content of any information available on the Site including any error, infringement, defamation, obscenity or inaccuracy, or from any action or decision taken as a result of using the Site, including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damages. This clause shall not limit or exclude the Board’s liability for negligent misstatement or death or personal injury arising from the negligence of the Board.

Information provided on the Site is in some cases based on legislation that has not yet been fully enacted and/or may be subject to subsequent amendment. The Board accepts no liability for changes in the law that aff ect the accuracy of the information it provides on the Site.

Except where otherwise indicated, the Board owns the copyright in material on the Site (excluding material on Third Party Websites). The User is licensed to reproduce this material provided the User does not do so for financial gain and the User acknowledges the Pension Protection Fund as the source of this material.

6. Linking
The User may link to the Site provided the links are not placed in such a way as to suggest an endorsement of any kind by the Board or Pension Protection Fund.

7. Logos
The User is not authorised to reproduce in any way the logos or images contained on the Site.

8. Law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are subject to the laws, and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts, of England and Wales.

9. Updates
We may revise these terms of use at any time and it is the User’s responsibility to check for these changes. Continued use of the Site constitutes your acceptance of any change.
